Pebblebrook Hotel Trust announced the winners of its sixth annual Pebby Awards, chosen for their outstanding accomplishments in 2017.

Best Overall Leadership by a Management Team – Hotel Zelos, San Francisco, based on revenue management, sales, marketing and comprehensive expense management. Other nominees included: Embassy Suites San Diego Bay, LaPlaya Beach Resort & Club, The Nines, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Skamania Lodge.
Best Overall Hotel Profitability Flow-Through – Hotel Zeppelin, San Francisco, based on generating the greatest operating profitability improvement over prior year based on revenue growth. Other nominees in this category included: Hotel Zephyr, San Francisco, Skamania Lodge, Stevenson, WA, Sofitel Philadelphia, and Union Station Nashville.
Best Overall Forecasting Accuracy – Le Meridien Delfina Santa Monica, based on forecasting actual operating profitability. Other nominees included: Hotel Zelos, San Francisco, The Nines, a Luxury Collection Hotel, W Boston.
Best Implementation of Energy Conservation Programs – Skamania Lodge, Stevenson, WA, based on green initiatives to reduce the hotel’s carbon footprint and energy expenses. Other nominees included: Hotel Zoe, San Francisco, Intercontinental Buckhead – Atlanta, LaPlaya Beach Resort & Club, Naples, FL.
Overall Performance During a Major Renovation – LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort, Naples, FL, based on maintaining a pleasant and professional demeanor while living through disruption, and operational inconveniences. Other nominees included Hotel Colonnade Coral Gables, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Hotel Palomar Los Angeles – Beverly Hills, Hotel Zoe, San Francisco, Revere Hotel Boston.
