A New Star In Snowmass – Just In Time For Christmas

The much anticipated Limelight Snowmass opened in the center of base village on December 14th with 99 guestrooms, 11 private residences, ski valet, après ski lounge, two pools with spa cabanas, and a kids’ room.  The hotel is part of a $600 million Snowmass Base Village project created by Aspen Skiing Company and East-West Partners in partnership with KSL Capital Partners.

Artfully designed by Oz Architecture to give every room a mountain view, the hotel is integrated into the village plaza with an ice skating rink just outside the front door. Eldorado Climbing Walls designed and constructed the hotel’s 54′ indoor self-belay climbing wall with three lanes and six routes to the top.  Its realistic granite-like surface mirrors locations near Snowmass, such as the popular Grotto area on Independence Pass.

Stonehill & Taylor designed interiors that are fresh, bright, contemporary and built to withstand year ’round adventuring. Guestrooms are spacious and have plenty of hooks and storage spaces for clothing and gear.  Four-legged pet guests are welcomed with complementary bowls and placements.  Ski chalet service stores gear, dries boots, prints lift tickets and delivers rentals from Four Mountain Sports.

Bray Whaler is fortunate to have handled procurement for the construction of all three Limelight Hotels in Aspen, Snowmass and Ketchum, Idaho.  When innovation and thoughtful design combine to make a hotel truly guest-centric, the process is a joy from conception to completion.

Check out the great grand opening deals.  This is one not to miss!
