Developed by Urban Villages and housed in the beautifully restored Westland Building built in 1907, Populus Seattle reflects a deep commitment to both environmental responsibility and historic preservation.

Following in the footsteps of its sister, Populus Denver, the Populus Seattle marks the brand’s second hotel, and the first in the Pacific Northwest region—and we’re honored to have contributed to both projects.

Harmonizing biophilic design with local character, the hotel features modern guest rooms and suites, a signature restaurant, and Pioneer Square’s first rooftop bar, offering views of Puget Sound and Seattle’s skyline.

Populus Seattle is one of the largest LEED Platinum, NPS-approved historic preservation projects in the country—and its carbon-positive design means it will remove more carbon from the atmosphere than it produces over its lifetime. From renewable energy to low-impact materials, every single detail reflects a forward-thinking approach to hospitality.
